Teriyaki Glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Soy Sauce
  • ¾ Cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1 Clove Minced Garlic
  • 1 Teaspoon of Diced Ginger
  • ½ Lime
  • 3-5 oz. Portions of Salmon
  • 2 Tablespoons of Sesame Oil

Directions

Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic and ginger in a large Ziploc bag.  Squeeze the ½ of lime into the mixture.  Stir well together until all the brown sugar is dissolved.  After the sugar has dissolved, place the salmon portions in the bag.  Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.

In a large pan pour the Sesame Oil on to it.  Place on medium heat.  Place salmon portions on the heated pan (skin side down if skin is still attached).  Cook for 3-5 minutes before turning the salmon.  Turn salmon over and cook for 2-3 minutes.  While the salmon is cooking in the pan, continue to baste the fish with the mixture made above. 
Salmon should be flakey and easily come apart.  Serve on top of a bed of rice.
